New York State Women, Inc. – we are over one thousand women and men from 60 local organizations throughout New York State.
Women in the NYS Women Inc. - Eastern Suffolk Chapter have made dramatic strides over the last several decades. Today women populate the work force in greater numbers than ever before, and are in position of increasing significance. NYS Women Inc. - Eastern Suffolk Chapter is here to foster the professional growth of these and future working women through a variety of programs and services. We have come a long way in supporting the development of women today, we are making a difference for tomorrow.
Who We Are
Our chapter was founded in September 1958 by a group of local women who felt the need for a forum to express their ideas and needs. NYS Women Inc. - Eastern Suffolk Chapter is a group of women of all ages representing a broad spectrum of employment fields. We promote full participation, equality and economic self-sufficiency for all women.
What We Do
NYS Women Inc. - Eastern Suffolk Chapter serves women by offering them a unique network in which they can strengthen their individual empowerment for balancing work and family; build leadership skills through community involvement and issue advocacy; develop personal and professional skills to further their career; and learn about the issues that matter most to women.
