New York State Women, Inc. – Eastern Suffolk Chapter awards scholarships to qualified applicants.
To be considered for the scholarship award, applicants must be women who:
- Reside in Eastern Suffolk County, New York;
- Are currently enrolled in an accredited two or four year degree program at a college or university as an undergraduate or graduate student;
- Are returning students;
- Demonstrate a need for financial assistance;
- Write a 200 word essay on one of the following topics and;
- Why I must return to school?
- My Contributions to Society
- Complete the attached Scholarship Application in full.
Members and relatives of members will be given added consideration.
New York State Women Inc., - Eastern Suffolk Chapter will review all applications and choose one scholarship winner.
